Lanka Kade

The words Lanka Kade translates in English into "the Sri Lankan Shop". Lanka Kade was established in 1994 by a husband and wife team with the purpose of providing an outlet for items produced by small craft enterprises in Sri Lanka. The products are handmade by seven family businesses based in Sri Lanka. Lanka Kade has long term working commitments with all the families involved and are determined to operated with a fair trade approach. Lanka Kade (UK) Ltd have been approved by BAFTS (British Association of Fair Trade Shops) since 2001 as a fair trade supplier.
