The playhouses features a stable door, with both parts opening independently. The door has a decorative diamond-shaped glazed cut-out in the top half, and a functioning letterbox in the lower half of the door.
Each side of the door there is a rectangular window with a pretty window box (complete with drainage holes) - ideal for growing some colourful flowers in. A diamond-shaped window on the right-hand side of the playhouse allows more light inside.
The right-hand side of the playhouse also features a set of opening shutters, with pretty heart-shaped glazed cut-outs. These shutters are set at a low level and are perfect for pretend play - perhaps the playhouse will become a shop or a cafe?
Internally, the playhouse has plywood-lined walls, to give a lovely flat surface, and the internal walls have been painted white to make the playhouse feel more light and airy. One internal wall features a large chalkboard that is great for encouraging creativity and imaginative play. Perhaps the playhouse will become a small school?
The playhouse roof is finished with lovely wooden cedar shingles and a scalloped ridge and facia board. The walls of the playhouse have a layer of plywood and a damp-proof membrane, in addition to the frame work and shiplap, meaning that the playhouse is better suited to extended use throughout the year.
In front of the playhouse there is an enclosed decked play area, surrounded by charming lollipop fencing to match the playhouse.

The price includes delivery to a mainland UK address (except the Scottish Highlands), and full installation. This playhouse has a solid wooden base (with built in weather-proof membrane), but requires a suitable sub-base, such as slabs, concrete, tarmac, or decking.
Made from high quality redwood timber, external grade hardwood plywood, and tanolised timber, all from FSC accredited sources. 6mm wbp plywood and a damp-proof membrane is fitted between the redwood framework and the shiplap. The floor is 18mm wbp plywood, has a weather-proof membrane, and is on tanolised bearers (a pressure treatment guaranteed for 15 years). The decking is grooved, and 38mm thick. The roof of the playhouse is finished with cedar shingles fitted over two base layers of felt. The windows are glazed with 2mm polycarbonate sheet, which is clear but unbreakable.
The external timber is finished with Sadolin Superdec opaque timber protection in white, which gives a solid finish like paint, but won't flake or peel.
Built in the UK by skilled craftsmen, and installed in your garden by those same craftsmen.
